The NBA Finals are not really my thing. Plus besides rooting for the Heat to lose it's not much fun. Although I would love to see Mark Cuban with the Trophy. I bet he spikes it.
Stanley Cups Finals are in full swing with the Bruins evening the series 2-2 with the Canucks. This looked to be a bore with Vancouver jumping out to a comanding 2-0 lead. But the Bruins are exploding, beating the Canucks 12-1 in the past two games. Hopefully the Canucks can get back in and make the series more entertaining.
Baseball is happening and the divisions are starting to take shape. It's getting harder and harder for me to pay attention now though because the Cubs are so terrible. But really, I kinda saw it coming....
In the world of Soccer, lots of International tournaments going on. Newly signed Liverpool player Jordan Herderson (pictured above) will be playing in the Europe Under-21 Tournament in Denmark. England is the favorite. Let's hope that Henderson does the Reds good.
On this side of the pond the United Stated national team is playing the the CONCACAF Gold Cup, basically the North American Championship. The US beat border rival Canada 2-0 on Tuesday to open the tourney and will play Panama on Saturday. And for those who don't know CONCACAF stands for Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football. Good to know, right?
So that's about it for now. The main things I will cover in this blog are going to be Soccer (EPL, MLS, and Nationals mostly), Baseball, Football, and a bit of Hockey and NCAA Men's Basketball sprinkled in. Of course it's all going to be bias towards the teams I like (Colts, Cubs, Indiana University, Liverpool FC, Blackhawks). But that's the name of it all - Ramblings from Indy. Hope you enjoy...
